Clever and Refreshing
First, my favorite thing about this show is that both characters are voiced by the same person but it still feels like two people having a conversation like most parenting podcasts. The thing is, this isn’t most parenting podcasts - in fact it isn’t one at all. It’s a satirical take on mommy-culture provoked by influencers, Pinterest, even other mom-pods, etc. and it’s f*%^ing hilarious. This isn’t “haha, being a parent is so gross, let’s lol about it!” It’s literally scripted and wanders into the bizarre when Blandy (who isn’t even a mom) starts to give “advice.” It’s one big joke and for that, this podcast is definitely not just for New Moms.
