In recounting her shelved book story, Rebecca explains that she has always been a huge fan of scifi and fantasy stories. In fact, the first serious book she wrote, the novel of her heart, and the one that got her an agent, was a fantasy novel. But for many reasons, publishers didn’t pick it up. The first book she sold was a contemporary romance, and that became her brand, and something she was also enthusiastic about. But a few years ago, the stars aligned, and Rebecca got her chance to return to her first love and her passion, her fantasy in the drawer. And is she ever glad she accepted the challenge!
