  1. EPISODE 156

    RBDS9 156-Image in the Sand

Rebinging Star Trek DS9: Image in the Sand Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Deep Space Nine S7E1: Image in the Sand! Season 7 is here and we lead off with a bang! We've got visions, a dude in a hood stabbing Sisko, and a very suspicious Romulan. (Never trust a Romulan when they're being nice.) We've got a load of our old favorite guest stars in Brock Peters as Grandpa Joe and JG Hertzler as Martok. We also have some new faces in Megan Cole as a Romulan with a forgettable name and we've got a new Dax. Yep, this episode marks the first appearance of Nicole de Boer as Ezri Dax. Sorry Jadzia, but Trek moves on. Image in the Sand Sisko is moping around Grandpa Joe's restaurant waiting for the prophets to do something and they finally do! He has a vision of seeing a woman's face in the sand and he immediately starts trying to figure out who she is. Back on the station Colonel (!) Kira is dealing with a suspiciously friendly Romulan on DS9. What's this rebinge thing? It's a re-watch of a thing you've already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. Please listen to some of our favorite episodes like Duet, The Visitor or Sacrifice of Angels or our VERY SPECIAL episode: Star Trek First Contact. And be sure to listen to our previous episode S6E27: The Season 6 Wrap Up. Next time... Join us next week for S7E2: Shadows and Symbols. RBDS9 157-Shadows and Symbols

Rebinging Star Trek DS9: Shadows and Symbols Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Deep Space Nine S7E2: Shadows and Symbols! Oh this is a fun one - we've got visions and a new Dax and Kira kicking ass...lots to enjoy. Guest star Brock Peters as Grandpa Joe and Megan Cole as Senator Who's It (that's what we call her) continue their stories from last week. We also meet Sara Sisko this week, played by Deborah Lacey. Shadows and Symbols Sisko has answered the call of another vision and headed to a desert planet called Tyree where we seem to just be wandering around in hopes of finding something. Will he find the Orb of the Emissary? Will he find his mom? Meanwhile, Kira is trying to clean up another Starfleet mess with some Romulans trying to arm one of Bajor's moons. Admiral Stuffed Shirt does not appear to know what he's gotten himself into as he expects Kira and the Bajorans to just back down...HAVE YOU MET KIRA? What's this rebinge thing? It's a re-watch of a thing you've already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. Please listen to some of our favorite episodes like Duet, The Visitor or Sacrifice of Angels or our VERY SPECIAL episode: Star Trek First Contact.
