    Sending Hashimoto’s into Remission

    Sending Hashimoto’s into Remission

Could symptoms such as extreme fatigue, difficulty losing weight and brain fog be related to your thyroid?
For Dr. Emily Kiberd, the cause was Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune thyroid condition. Though she had endured tons of testing, she didn’t discover Hashimoto’s until a functional medicine doctor tested for thyroid antibodies.
Emily made lifestyle changes to begin repairing and reversing Hashimoto’s. By changing how she eats and works out, and addressing several underlying root causes, she’s been able to put her Hashimoto’s into REMISSION.
In my conversation with Emily, you’ll hear…
The thyroid tests that finally uncovered Hashimoto’s disease The anti-inflammatory, low-histamine diet she followed How she changed her workouts to support healing How environmental factors such as mold toxicity, heavy metals and parasites contributed to her illness The ways she detoxed from toxins and parasites The gut health protocol she followed And her maintenance routine for keeping her thyroid healthy If you have Hashimoto’s or have hypothyroid or hyperthyroid, I know you’ll find tons of helpful insights in this episode.

Dr Emily Kiberd is also a chiropractor, mom, and founder of Thyroid Strong, a fitness program for those with thyroid conditions. Because of her health experience, she helps women struggling with Hashimoto’s lose weight and beat fatigue by teaching them how to work out without burning out. She has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Vice, and Women’s Health on her expertise on posture, ergonomics, and strength training.

    Eliminating Endometriosis Naturally

    Eliminating Endometriosis Naturally

If you have struggled with endometriosis or know someone who has, this episode offers tons of insight into how to treat endometriosis naturally – and effectively.
Today, I’m talking with Dr. Erika Gray, who experienced life-limiting endometriosis beginning in her teens. That’s when endometriosis began causing extreme pain and exhaustion for her.
Surgery followed by birth control pills brought very brief relief before it worsened again. Doctors told Erika that she would probably need a hysterectomy in her 20s. But she and her family resolutely wouldn’t accept that future for her.
Instead, Erika’s family found a functional chiropractor who helped them with a natural treatment for endometriosis that ultimately stopped the pain – and allowed Erika to go on to have two children naturally.
These days, Dr. Erika Gray is the co-founder and CMO at ToolBox Genomics and MyToolBox Genomics. As a pharmacist having had years of experience in both alternative and allopathic medicine, Dr. Erika is passionate about integrating the two modalities to inspire people to live healthier lives. She believes that helping people understand who they are from their genes outward will help provide them with the tools to understand how they interact with their environment and the role this interaction has with their health. In my conversation with Erika, you’ll hear…
The impact of conventional medicine on her endometriosis How birth control pills can affect endometriosis and your mood The natural endometriosis treatment that helped her get pregnant with endometriosis The impact of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with progesterone How she pairs niacin with melatonin to help balance her cycles and normalize her periods The role of B vitamins And how diet impacted her endometriosis symptoms I know that you’ll find some fresh insights on endometriosis in Erika’s inspiring story merged with her clinical knowledge and experience.

On this episode, I talk with Rosie Aiello, who healed fibromyalgia and adrenal fatigue naturally. Today, she has no symptoms of either. She went from barely being able to walk to doing stair repeats for workouts these days.

Back in the United States, she reinvented herself, and she’s gone on to become a speaker, best-selling author, host of the Vulnerable to Valuable podcast, and an international multi-awarding-winning entrepreneur.
As a women’s life and transformation coach, Rosie now helps women who have emerged from narcissistic, controlling and abusive (toxic) relationships, to reclaim their voice, value, confidence, and courage so that they can create a joyful, productive, and prosperous life that they desire.

An Ironman Athlete Conquers Adrenal Exhaustion

An Ironman Athlete Conquers Adrenal Exhaustion

On this episode, I talk with Joanna Chodorowska. Joanna is a driven, lifelong athlete who has competed in multiple Ironman triathlon races. It’s a grueling, day-long race where you swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and THEN run a full marathon! Joanna was at the peak of her athletic fitness when she hit the wall (figuratively). Her body just wouldn’t go anymore. She soon learned that she had adrenal exhaustion. She went from training for 140-mile races to needing a nap after walking to the mailbox. Exercise was her stress relief – until it became a major stressor on her health. In my conversation with Joanna, you’ll hear…
The combination of stressors that led to adrenal exhaustion The impact on her thyroid function and menstrual cycle How she re-learned how to eat to fuel her body as an athlete The nutritional changes that improved her blood sugar and adrenals How she found new ways to manage her stress The other self-care tactics that helped her recover from adrenal exhaustion How Joanna returned to Ironman racing once she knew how to support her body These days, Joanna is a holistic nutritionist, a pain and inflammation expert, author, speaker, ordained minister, founder of Nutrition in Motion, athlete and lover of life. She guides athletes to relieve their pain and health challenges so they more fully love their bodies and active lives.
Joanna discovered through her own healing from adrenal exhaustion and arthritic hips, that the body can heal naturally given the right tools.
Whether you’re an athlete or not, I know you’ll take away valuable insights from this episode.
