This was my fav Recipe Club episode! I couldn’t stop laughing. It was almost better than the Yogurt episode. ;) Can’t wait to see IG pics of Bryan and John spatchcocking a chicken in Astoria!

Recipes have become a race to the bottom

I used to like listening to this, but the new season/format leaves something to be desired. A lot of the recipes chosen are the trashiest, lowest-effort, barely-a-recipe recipes. I liked the last season where there was more to discuss, more genuine conversation about cooking techniques, and the recipes were chosen with an aim to make something actually good. Ya it’s funny to make fun of gross church casseroles, but I’m here to learn more about cooking and find something new to make, not a few people who want to put as little effort into this podcast as possible.
