Reclaiming My Theology is a podcast and community taking our theology back from ideas and systems that oppress. My name is Brandi Miller, some of you know me as @brandinico in online spaces. For over a decade, I have been exploring, unlearing, and reimagining my faith outside of systemic oppression and want to bring you along with me! Each season of the podcast will be a deep dive into a form of systemic oppression and ask how the values of oppressive ideas shape our hearts, minds, politics, and lived experiences. There are so many things to reclaim our theology from: white supremacy, patriarchy and misogyny, capitalism, homophobia, ableism and more. As we launch our first season, we will be reclaiming our theology from white supremacy. Each episode, I will talk to a guest about how the attributes of oppressive ideologies have infiltrated how we see ourselves, each other, and God. We will learn from marginalized communities who practice a different way, and seek to create a more just faith experience together.

My New Favorite Podcast!

I have been recommending this podcast to many of my Christian friends because it’s been making my mind explode. It’s not just making me reclaim my theology, it’s expanding it as well. Just about every episode makes me think more deeply and reminds me that we have a great and infinite God.

Epically awesome k8 ,

Thank you for speaking truth boldly

Sharing episodes all the time! This is the spiritual nourishment I’ve been starving for.

Here for all of this

Brandi- thank you for all the thought and heart you put into these episodes. I’ve really felt alone in my spiritual struggles and each episode creates a safe place to ask questions, share doubts and imagine about how our beliefs about God can become more loving and freeing for ourselves and all humans. This podcast challenges me to grow and is kinda what I always wanted Sunday school to be like but I didn’t know it till now. I’m learning heaps here and trying to do just a little bit better everyday. Grateful for you and your guests! Erna and you are my favorites but each guest has offered up so much gold. I’m someone who has experienced spiritual trauma and Brandi shares in a way that isn’t triggering or she gives good heads-up. :)
