Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky

Monica Lewinsky is awesome. She has overcome a global scandal and true to her Podcast title she is reclaiming her name and place in the world. Can I just say, she is an exceptional interviewer; asking interesting and thought provoking questions while listening to the answers and not interrupting (as many interviewers do). And most importantly she chooses incredibly interesting people. I’ve listened to all episodes thus far (today is 4/7/25) and one of the best was the Alan Cumming interview — it literally made me want to buy his Memoir (so good btw). But all of her interviews are great!!! Jon Chu, Molly Ringwald, Kara Swisher & so on — all so good!! I am a woman in my early 40’s and though I recall the scandal from 1998, I know my perception of it was definitely skewed/shaped by the times. So it is refreshing and enlightening to hear from her now and to be so far removed from the time in which it took place. Candidly, it’s exactly what we need to see; a strong woman standing up for herself, knowing who she is and standing in her power by gracefully speaking up for herself regardless of outside opinion. This podcast is more than a series of interviews, it is a testament to what we (the collective we) are capable of if we keep moving forward and carry ourselves with grace and dignity no matter what we may face along the way. Bravo to Monica Lewinsky and her team on the Reclaiming podcast. Well done! Can’t wait for the next episode. 👏👏👏 One little tip: try different adjectives in the place of “interesting”. My personal opinion (obviously), it feels like when you’re not sure if what was said was necessary good or bad the auto-response is “interesting “ and it’s said quite frequently. — maybe try “oh how surprising “ or “how thrilling” or maybe “oh wow, how curious “ etc… Or maybe a different exclamatory, like “oh how charming” or oh how inspiring “ —- just to change it up a bit. Ok my 2cents are complete. Love you! And your “interesting “ podcast! 😉💖💖💖💖

I am absolutely obsessed with this podcast. As a child of the 90’s I only heard snippets and really didn’t think beyond that, but when I saw the title I had to give it a listen. These conversations are always compelling, and having examples of vulnerability and genuine care and interest is so much of what the world needs right now. I’m normally a true crime girlie, but this is the show I *have* to listen to as soon as new episodes drop. Monica is a beautiful human and such an example for all of us who have experienced things that shake us to our core. I wish I could give her a giant hug and a crystal in gratitude for all she puts into this show.

The world was so cruel to ML and I am loving her journey to reclaiming her name, her impact, and everything in her future. Hearing from different perspectives is so interesting and I’m loving every episode. MLs ability to turn the darkest time of her life around and now bring joy and light to others is inspirational and I’m grateful we get to listen to it!

I’ve really enjoyed this podcast and listened to most episodes. The sound quality, guys, help!! When it first comes on with the Wondery watermark, the sound is excessively loud. Then as soon as you hear Monica’s voice, the volume goes way down. To the point where I can’t have any of these eps in my queue with my headphones on at night, because it startles me everytime an episode of Reclaiming comes on.
