Hebrews 7:20-25 Guarantor & Intercessor
Jesus is the guarantor of a better covenant, who is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Why is Jesus a better priest than any other? I. Because of God's oath, vv20-21. II. Because he's the guarantor of a better covenant, v22. III. Because he always lives to intercede for us,, vv23-25.

What should we do if someone in the Christian community sins against us? I. If we’ve been sinned against, we should confront the person personally and privately, v15. II. If they won’t listen to just you, you should take others along, v16. III. If they won’t listen to two or three people, take it to the church, for judicial action, v17. IV. If they refuse to listen even to the church, let them be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector, v17b
