Reformed Federalism, part one

Christ and Kingdom

Episode: 49
Featuring: Emilio Ramos and Mike Theimann

Description In this episode of Christ and Kingdom, we move on to the subject of Reformed Federalism or covenant theology. As part of the “Reformed Path” of theology, Reformed Federalism is an essential part of Reformed theology. This foundational aspect of Reformed thought has many important facets that need to be carefully explained and understood. In part one we tackle the importance of covenant theology, the critical role that the covenant of redemption, works and grace play in a proper understanding of man’s relationship to God and God’s purpose for creation. In order to do this we interact with the all-important subject of nature and grace, and we also contrast the Reformed view of nature and grace over against the errors of Rome and other approaches to creation, image and protology.
