Great Podcast! The Duff McDonald episode in particular was phenomenal!!
I love the realness and rawness Amy and Joe bring to the recovery space. My absolute favorite so far was the November 3rd, 2020 episode with Duff McDonald. His story mirrored so much of my own. I share all the same views on AA and what actually happens in treatment when people go in a little older (40’s) It was a refreshing take on other options out there to stay sober!
I was elated to hear Amy Dresner had a podcast, as I loved her book. She and Joe have such great banter, great guests, and it is hysterical! Also, this podcast is inspiring, informative, and helpful for people in recovery. Nothing is better than that!
A MUST LISTEN!!!
Sick of talking to your mother about your recovery?
Nothing is worse than having to discuss your recovery with people who just don’t get it.
I know personally it makes me want to shove a screw driver into my left eye.
Also preachy people or squeaky clean people who sugar coat it.
Listen to this podcast. They make you laugh, give you hope, share insightful information on your new life journey, and best of all THEY ARE REAL!
A lot better than talking to mom during the Covid lock in. 🤣
