Kevin McCarthy, once thought to be a sure in for Speaker of the House, has not galvanized the GOP to obtain the 218 votes needed. With the Republicans currently in disarray, will the investigations America needs to prove the corruption in Washington DC to the American People still happen? There has been talk of some Republicans actually voting for Democrat to keep McCarthy from being elected as Speaker. Reps. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., and Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.were actually in talks with Democrat Ocasio-Cortez (link).
