Alright, so this episode would've dropped sooner if my power didn't go out... I promise. But we did it! It's a great time this week, thanks to YOU. On today's show we get into my confusion of how life was before air conditioning and I make yet another case for having a bouncer at every pharmacy. Also, vaccines for ages 6 months and up are coming so... yay? Finally, we all have patients come up or call right before closing which stops us during our "pharmacy scramble". Enjoy!

Happy almost-middle of June, ReTellers! That's not really a thing, but hey, we made it this far in 2022 and that's worth some recognition. It's such a blast this week (duh) bc you guys brought the goods. We talk how pts are STILL ASKING FOR FLU SHOTS. WHYYYYY. Also, I'm way too excited to announce having 2 new interns and that crazy phenomenon when a patient calls with several questions and 5 minutes later you hear a co-worker having the SAME conversation with them... answering the same questions. Let's see, what else... oh, there's a new covid vaccine coming (yay?) and "Use As Directed" has to go. Right? Right. We end with one of my favorite topics: food. Enjoy!

I feel like all is well again, you know? At least for now :) It just feels good to record earlier in the week and get the episode out at it's usual time. Anywho, this week is a blast (duh) and it's all thanks to YOU. We get into so so much including: my secret desire to meet the man behind the voice greeting of CVS, how many covid shots we've given up to this point (spoiler: A LOT) and nasal covid vaccines... they're in the works. We also talk about the huge mistake of mixing/reconstituting anything unless the pt is PRESENT at the pharmacy, vaccine darts, and, finally, the feeling of hearing your pharmacy phone ring about 7 seconds after you open. Hey guys. Whew, what a weird week. Hence, the EXTREMELY late episode post. I almost didn't record this week but I'm so so glad I did bc hanging with you all is such a good time. Although I (and prob many of you) had a mentally heavy week, we still try and have a little fun by my ability (or inability) to accept constructive criticism and discussing the latest medical trend: Monkeypox. We end with a patient of the week who gets some...  questionable advice from his "healer". Enjoy!

Phew... welp, someone couldn't record until the last second and released this episode way later than usual... and that person is me. Either way, it's always a great time and this episode is certainly no exception. We get into my hypocritical feelings of being on hold with another pharmacy, pediatric covid boosters being approved, and some facts on insulin storage. Last, but not least, we discuss how we handle what often feels like a gray area in our jobs: HIPAA. Enjoy!
