In this episode we hit a variety of topics: Thanks to the Fed, interest rates are going up and yet Inflation remains very high. The housing market is on the brink of collapse. The midterm elections are happening right now and the Supreme Court is back in session. Paul Pelosi was injured and there is a lot of speculation around it. Then finally we spend a lot of time discussing an Atlantic article calling for "Pandemic Amnesty".

We are back!! And we have so many current events to discuss that we didn't have time to discuss them all, but we still managed to hit big ticket items like Elon Musk's ongoing bid to buy twitter and updates on the war in Ukraine. Then we focus most of our time on President Biden's announcement on Marijuana and the ramifications of such an unexpected move.

104: Immigration Revisited
Last week Governor DeSantis sent a plane of 50 immigrants to the island of Martha's Vineyard. This led to a myriad of media responses and political grandstanding. But while many have taken the time to throw the opposing party under the bus, too few have focused on why this happened in the first place. So we went ahead and looked at what is going on at our southern border and whether or not there really is an immigration crisis.

They also you very easy to understand language that almost anybody can understand. I plan on sharing this podcast with everyone that I can!
Critical Theory episode
This is the first & only episode I listened to. I appreciate the sentiment of fair & open discussion expressed by the hosts, but their conversation really only responds to a straw-man version of “critical theory”. They mention some influential thinkers in the beginning, but spend the majority of the episode refuting a single argument made by some of the dumber, trend-hopping books & articles published the last few years.
