Synopsis: High above the city of Los Angeles, a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. But one man has managed to escape detection... an off-duty cop. He's alone... tired... and the only chance anyone has. Bruce Willis stars as New York City Detective John McClane, newly arrived in Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia). But as McClane waits for his wife's office party to break up, terrorists seize control of the building. While the terrorist leader, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) and his savage henchman (Alexander Godunov) round up hostages, McClane slips away unnoticed. Armed with only a service-revolver and his cunning, McClane launches his own one-man war. When one of the men is discovered missing, his friends begin a search that leads them to horrifying consequences. They are all unaware of the evil that has been unleashed and soon, one by one, the townspeople are snatched up by a monster that no one has yet to see. Suddenly, the grisly truth is revealed and a young couple is forced to confront the unknown in order to save their lives... and the entire town. .......................................................................................................................... Synopsis: Some of the patients in The Haven, a state mental hospital, think that their doctor is going to kill them. These psychopaths are treated by Dr. Dan Potter (Dwight Schultz), a new therapist. In their twisted minds, they feel they must kill Dr. Potter to survive. Considered dangerous incorrigibles, they are kept in a top security ward. Hawkes (Jack Palance) is a former POW, Preacher (Martin Landau) is an angry prophet, and Fatty (Erland Van Lidth) is a 370 lb. hulk who devours little girls. One night, a citywide blackout enables the men to escape from their electric cells. They circle Potter's house, trapping him and his family inside.
