Rhythms: Faith has Muscle Memory‪.‬ A Spacious Christianity

    • Christianity

Rhythms: Faith has Muscle Memory. Practices for a Jesus-Centered Love with Rev. Morgan Schmidt. Scripture: Luke 24:13-35.
In the first century, Jesus of Nazareth inspired a movement. A community of people whose lives were centered on Jesus Christ and committed to living the way of God’s unconditional, unselfish, sacrificial and redemptive love. Before they were called “church” or “Christian”, this Jesus movement was called “The Way.
Join us each Sunday as we journey together, focusing on practices that will help shape us in the way of love shown by Jesus that will change our lives and the world.
At First Presbyterian, you will meet people at many different places theologically and spiritually. And we love it that way. We want to be a place where our diversity brings us together and where conversation takes us all deeper in our understanding of God.
We call this kind of faith “Spacious Christianity.” We don’t ask anyone to sign creeds or statements of belief. The life of faith is about a way of being in the world and a faith that shows itself in love.

Find us where you listen to podcasts.  Livestreams of our video service are at 10AM on Sundays (online at bendfp.org or facebook.com/bendfp), or 11AM on KTVZ-CW Channel 612/12 in Bend, Oregon.
