RICKY HATTON

Boxers are well renowned for their walk-on music. It's often used as a way to pump themselves up before a big fight or to lift the crowd to get the adrenaline flowing in the arena. Ricky Hatton, famously a Manchester City fan, would walk into the ring to Blue Moon - and he always fought wearing his blue shorts and gloves, too. He named his dog after a club legend and has been a regular at Maine Road and the City of Manchester Stadium for years. The Blue Moon Podcast's David Mooney went to his gym in Hyde to speak to Hatton about his love for the Blues.
