The Royals
We recorded this one on Friday evening, which is the reason most of you are receiving it on Saturday. We’re sorry about that, but to make up for it, we cast around for the perfect ensemble and we think we nailed it: Steve Hayward, John Yoo, and Erick Erickson. The latter joins to give us […]

Can We Wake The President?
This week, we start in California, which is the subject of two piece published by The Founders in the current issue of National Review. Then, all the way from South Africa, COVID sceptic Nick Hudson, CEO of PANDA, a collective of leading scientists, actuaries, economists, data scientists, statisticians, medical professionals, lawyers, engineers and businesspeople working as […]

South of The Border
We’re late –really late– so we’re going to make this brief: we’ve got our old friend Mickey Kaus to talk about Biden’s immigration policy, California politics, and other assorted ephemera, and we’ve got Mary Eberstadt on her book Primal Screams:How the Sexual Revolution Created Identity Politics. We also punditize (yes, we just invented that word) Biden’s press […]

Who’s Afraid of Naomi Wolf?
This week, in an unparalleled act of commitment, we persisted and Naomi Wolf is our guest this week. It’s a fascinating, surprising, and yes, hopeful conversation and we’re very grateful she agreed to join us. But see what you think. Then, the delightful Deb Saunders –on hiatus from covering the White House– joins us to talk about […]

For The Benefit of Mr. Kite (and Key)
This week, Ricochet editor and podcaster to the stars Troy Senik stops by to talk about his new venture, Kite and Key Media, which produces explainers about issues in the news. So you could argue that this show is an explainer about explainers, but we are not going to be that meta. We also delve […]
Customer Reviews
Find myself checking every day for a new episode.
Love this podcast. James, Rob and Peter are a perfectly balanced set of viewpoints, and at the same time captivating and just plain fun to listen to. Feels like I'm eavesdropping on the cool kids table at Conservative University.
But make John Yoo a regular please. He’s the spice in the stew!
Stuck in the middle
It’s funny. People who do navel gazing for a living are optimistic and those who study the charts, and talk with the pundits, all seem to be on the other. The British Monarchy seems to be the metaphor for the decline of Western Civilization. They won 2 Wars alongside the Americans. But One thing is true, we have seen 75 years of decline since then. And no wars won to our credit, on the ground, or in the halls of Western Nations.
We love the Queen. We know what will come with the future eunuchs of Buckingham Palace— the End.
Home for the sensible
Love this podcast that is filled with wittiness, insightful conservative viewpoints and intriguing interviews. One of the few outlets that I trust to break down political and cultural issues.
