My name is Kristin Benton and I am a former life and business coach that is deeply passionate about overcoming doubt, guilt, shame, negative self-talk, and all around small living.
And, you've found my podcast, where you get to be a fly on the wall as I talk to the brave women that I admire! Sometimes it's just me; but, mostly, this is where you'll hear from women who are out there making waves, who have survived and THRIVE!
ABOUT THE RIDE OR DIE TRIBE
This is a tribe - a MOVEMENT… a sisterhood of ride or die “Bad Bit&$es” that own their awesome, equally as much as their flaws, and show it all to the world without shame, fear or guilt.
I love Jesus AND cussing (I’m not perfect)- I’m not for everyone- and that’s ok. I still love you. If you’re down for real talk and some f-bombs (sorry, not sorry) here’s your invite :)
We live authentically. We love deeply. We speak truth. We call BS on ourselves and each other. We want you....just as you are. Want in?
ABOUT ME, Kristin (AKA KBeezy!)
How do I tell you about me? Life has give me many challenges and I have yet to be taken down. It's a mindset I adopted in childhood as a victim of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. In college, while studying to be a professional opera singer, and after years of attempted suicide, an inpatient stay at a psychiatric hospital woke me up to the strength inside of me.
I went on to start my first business fresh out of college, built a very successful career in corporate America, then left all of it behind to build a women's fitness startup where I had the true privilege of growing and nurturing a tribe of 25,000 women across the United States. I have appeared on CNN, been featured in Reader's Digest, starred in numerous workout videos for the amazing FabFitFun, personal trained celebrities and shared women's fitness in every major TV market in the United States.
It was the most empowering experience of my life - running a company that achieved internal transformation by appealing to the desire for outer transformation. When that chapter ended, I was left not knowing who I was or what was next for me. With a lot of soul searching, I realized that what I'd been doing all along was transforming lives through mindset - fitness and movement was just the means to reach the women who so desperately needed to discover their own inner self-worth. All that I have learned and used to create my success is repeatable and all of my experiences are pointless if I don't share them.
And, now, I have committed fully to MY true calling- helping other women find and live their passion authentically. To celebrate the successes of my tribe- be there when they fall - and create a tribe of women who encourage each other on the journey to complete living.
#64- Podcast About Podcasts - From the Bunker
I do something I have never done and welcome boys to this formerly all girls club. Not only that, there are two of them. So - first time for a male guest and first time for more than one guest in the same episode. Quarantine got me some kind of way!
What do we talk about? This is the podcast about podcasts. We each listened to a podcast, without telling the others what we listened to. Then, we talk about it and see if we can guess what each other listened to.
It's a hilarious episode of chaos but you may find a new podcast to listen to that you love!
#63 The Michael Rooker Story
Nothing profound here. Just sharing a story from the archives. I love this story and how utterly ridiculous it is. Hope you enjoy!
#62 Field Trips (and such)
Things haven't been all bad in quarantine, but I've learned a lot of things. I picked up some work as an UberEats driver and while I didn't intend to go off about that - I totally did. HA!
#61 Rock Bottom Redemption
The podcast is back! Bringing you the good, the bad, and the ugly from my quarantined world. This episode is a bit on the, um, "not so proud of myself" side? let's just say we had a rough start in quarantine.
#60 Remix - All Over The Place
What happens when Kristin and Tammy sit down to do an episode of the Ride or Die Tribe Remix about routines? Um... pretty much a free flow of all the things... but in a good way! We discussed so many topics, from Kristin's amazing new Mystery Travel Concierge business to the difference between routines and discipline to politics (briefly, and we promise never to do that again!).
The great thing about talking about "all the things" is that we each have a different way of running our lives, so you will hear a variety of ideas and hopefully will find ones that work for you! We agree that living your best life is all about finding that sweet spot that feels so perfectly right for you and being intentional about making it happen. Spend some girl time with us! We are certain you will leave with some new ideas and a few laughs!

#59 Remix - Squirrel: Attack of Distraction
On this week’s Ride or Die Tribe Remix, Co-hosts Kristin and Tammy, discuss the common issue of “distraction” that we hear so many of our clients complain about. It is something we all face! You know, social media, checking email 20 times a day, texting friends to see who is available for a coffee meet-up, online shopping, and cleaning the house are just a few of the reasons we’ve heard. Can you relate?
Is it harmless or is it preventing us from living our higher purpose? We dive into the reasons distraction occurs and things you can do to set yourself up for a distraction-free day so you can complete the goals set out in front of you!
If you’ve ever had those “squirrel!” moments (reference: the movie, UP!), you’ll definitely want to listen in on this episode!
