“They’ve done such a good job of writing these Stonies as the s****y ultrawealthy that they are. Wonderful critique of capitalism, guys, I love it. And so to finally see them get their comeuppance and Betty and Jughead take them down as the working class heroes that they are? It’s gonna be so beautiful!” -Maria
So we were kinda *joking* about this episode being 42 minutes of Betty and Jughead acting smug as fuck...but like, it actually is and we are living for it?! We get Peak!Bughead as they take us through pretty much...everything that happened all season up until that moment, including the night Jughead almost died. We gasp at ALL the Baxter Brothers/Tracy True secrets that are revealed, from DuPont and Forsythe I to Chipping jumping out a window to Donna Sweett’s real motive for revenge. Come along for the ride with us as we joke, theorize, and love all the Bughead and the core four finally being reunited (above ground.)
(And of course, we have lots of anti-Barchie arguments and pleas with the writers to stop this baiting nonsense that makes no sense for the characters they’ve developed over the past, idk, four seasons.)
