Lauren, i agree w you on 99% of things but I do implore you to look deeper into something you discussed on your recent podcast. I have noticed in my 5 years now (a little late but it’s fine) of being an undergraduate in college, that a huge majority of males are coddled by their parents. they’re given money to do anything and everything, and I’ve seen many drop out, barely graduate, or pay others to do their school work because they’re lazy and not disciplined. I know it’s bold to say that this is a huge majority but at least in my experience, it is. I go to a pretty good public institution, one of the highest ranking in the country, and I still see this issue across the board. I do think something is going on culturally. I don’t think the 38 woman you mentioned was loose in her viewpoint, she may be seeing the later effects of what I’m noticing now.

willfully obtuse

Gina Rodriguez has a history of being anti black, and the last time she was called out for it, she cried and was coddled by radio show hosts. Her saying the N word when she isn’t black and therefore has no right to decide if it’s no longer offensive, is wrong. And then she issued a non apology that skimmed over why people were upset. stop talking about things you clearly don’t understand.
