Roleplay Retcon Two Fish in a Jug

Roleplay Retcon remakes the movies that let you down using tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGS), soundtracks by indie bands, and lots of goofy writers' room jokes. Professional writer Benjamin Gray, Theatre sensei Jensie, and RPG expert/comedian/cinephile Alex invite a new guest, feature a new band, and play a new roleplaying or storytelling game for each bad movie.

Disney's Home on the Range (2004) with Grant Howitt
Grant Howitt, the creator of Honey Heist and over 100 other TTRPGs, joins us as we try to keep our remake of Disney's Home on the Range G-rated and put some witch stuff in with Grant's game The Witch is Dead. The latter goes pretty well.

Six Days Seven Nights (1998) with It Takes This Long | Roleplay Retcon
Ben and Jensie play It Takes This Long, a Roleplay Retcon original TTRPG, to remake the 1998 Harrison Ford/Anne Heche desert island adventure Six Days, Seven Nights. While not a horrible film, it was on the meh side and would be much better as the tale of estranged cousins/teleporter scientists who find themselves battling pirates after an unfortunate teleporter accident. You can back It Takes This Long on Kickstarter through March 30!

Funny and inclusive podcast!!
I have been a fan of the podcast since the beginning and I love these guys! They are funny and clever, and they are great to their fans. They are always coming out with bonus content and opportunities for their fans to feel like part of the show. If you are new to the show, I highly recommend getting in their discord to get involved in their wonderful community.
Did you am have traumatic head injuries as children?
I’m used to actual play podcasts with one player who doesn’t know what they are doing and refuses to lien. This is the first we’re all the players and the game masters are like that. Please just stop.
Entertaining show with great premise
Been listening to this show for a little while, always entertained. I’m impressed at the amount of thought that’s put into each arc, both with characters and where they take the story. Even if I haven’t seen the particular movie (which for me is most arcs) the fact that each arc is completely different, has new guests, and is DM’d by a different person each time speaks to the effort they put into it. Love that they partner with a different musician/band each time as well.
