In its obsessive search for the secret of immortality, the shogunate government sends a party of convicted criminals to a mysterious and deadly island to claim the Elixir of Life. To ensure that they complete their mission, these rogues are each accompanied by an elite executioner, ordered to eliminate them the moment they step out of line.
