The principal cities of the diocese are St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Clearwater. The diocese serves a total population of approximately 2,900,000, of whom over 425,000 are Catholic.

The event featured four dynamic speakers: Curtis Martin of FOCUS, Mother Olga Yaqob founder of the Daughters of Mary of Nazareth, Father Tim Anastos, Archdiocese of Chicago, and Dr. John Bergsma of St Paul Center. Also, Bishop Gregory Parkes celebrated Mass for all participants.
