Radu Georgescu is one of the names synonymous with the beginning of the tech industry in our country, being one of the first people who started startups in our country, even if at that time, the beginning of the 90s, he may not even have realized that his initiative amounted to with what today we call a startup.
He has a number of successful projects launched, such as Gecad, Avangate, ePayment, as well as resounding exits to Microsoft or Francisco Partners.
He is, even today, an entrepreneur at heart, being more passionate about the beginning of the journey and the road, knowing exactly when it is time to leave the reins in his hand to another manager. Radu Georgescu continues to invest in startups, through Gecad Ventures, and is also involved in the SeedBlink co-investment platform.
