Ron Fox - Part 1

This week, Scott chats with actor, author, and stuntman Rox Fox. Ron's background encompasses everything from film to live shows & renaissance festivals to audiobooks. His theme park entertainment background includes almost 2 decades with Universal, and over two decades with Disney.

With Disney, he started in attractions operations and left the company when his film and TV career took off, never imagining he would return…but he did as a member of the opening stunt team for Lights Motors Action where he served in a variety of roles including Driver, Trainer, and subject matter expert on Safety for the Disney Institute.

Ron was a member of the 40th anniversary Traditions team, including teaching Disney Cruise Line Traditions, and it was during this time he was nominated for and became a Legacy recipient, an award designed to recognize in those individuals Walt’s spirit to Dream, Create and Inspire and this award is given to less than 1% of all Cast Members worldwide.

As a Leader for THE WALT DISNEY Company, Ron served many roles including Disney Photo Imaging, Characters, Equity, Contract Entertainment, Parkwide Manager for special events, Hurricane Ride Out Crew Entertainment Manager, and Stage Manager for both the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and the longest continuously running theatrical production in US history, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.
