135 Larry Korn: Rest in Revolution

Root Simple reader Pat just informed me of the passing of Larry Korn, who was a guest on our podcast in October of 2015. Larry was probably best known as the translator of Masanobu Fukuoka’s One Straw Revolution but that underestimates what he did in his life. Larry, almost single highhandedly, is responsible for bringing […]

On this episode of the root simple podcast I talk to Kendra Gaeta about something you probably don’t think about too much–your sense of smell. I love the podcast but hey less Eric from Gardenfork. I listen to that show to and love it but I don’t need them together. I do really miss Kelly on this podcast!

Inspiring and Fun

Looking for a new podcast to insprie you to try new things and learn about things you didn't even know existed? Then look no further. Erik and Kelly are great hosts. I've spent a lot of time pondering many of the ideas they bring up such as: getting out of gardening or making my wardrobe a uniform. The archive is great and timeless. Listen on a long drive or while pulling weeds. You won't be disappointed.

You Will Want to Do More

I started listening to Root Simple years ago at this point and I am a total fan girl. I love Erik and Kelly. I am fascinated by their urban homesteading. I love the idea of a daily uniform. Listening to this podcast energizes me and makes me want to do more: around my house and for the environment.
