James Harden Who? Kevin Porter Posts 50 and 10
Ken and Alex are joined by a special guest: RotoWire contributor and Bulls fanatic Mike Barner. If you read RotoWire's Yahoo NBA DFS articles Monday-Friday, you're familiar with Mike's work. The trio discuss the latest news in the Association, including Kevin Porter Jr. becoming the youngest player ever to post 50 points and 10 assists. After news, there's waiver wire discussion and DFS suggestions for Friday's slate. Ken and Alex also learn the correct pronunciation of Alize Johnson's first name, and Mike has an Old Man Rant of his own.
I’ve listened for years and now finally writing a review. These guys are great. They often are more basketball-focused and not statistics focused. They’ve got this really dry humor depending on the hosts that’s really entertaining. It’s a great casual listen, many of the non-Friday podcasts are listenable even if you’re only looking for NBA and not fantasy content.
Fantasy-less Fantasy BBall Pod
There’s usable NBA knowledge you can apply generally. Fantasy basketballs mentioned about every other episode. Usually in DFS form. Since it’s only a weekly pod, most of the season long advice like waiver pickup suggestions are too late to matter.Just put it in another category.
Not a Fantasy BBall Podcast
The guys are mostly good, they know their stuff, but this isn’t really a fantasy basketball podcast. So much air time is spent on stuff like record over/unders, random (+/-) stats, odds and picks for player awards and talk of betting. It’s a good basketball podcast, but they really don’t do that much around actual fantasy, it’s more tangentially related to fantasy.
