Alberta premier Danielle Smith joins us on the E. coli outbreak in various city daycares which used a centralized kitchen. As of Friday 337 confirmed cases. 12 hospitalized. -- The premier is challenging the Trudeau government on a new federal tax on homes and argues new home builds will increase the cost of a new home in Alberta by at least $35,000 and $71,000 in Ontario. -- Premier Smith will also address the first meeting of the Alberta-Ottawa working group on emissions reduction and energy development - Also tweets her commitment "to standing alongside Alberta in ensuring the continued prosperity of our oil and natural gas sector."

What is E. coli, which E. coli bacteria attack the body (intestinal wall). Conditions which foster and spread life-threatening E. coli bacteria.- We all have E. coli in our systems and most of it is not of concern. However, the E. coli which infected over 300 children at Calgary daycares, 12 of who remained in hospital Friday is known as Shiga toxin-producing E.Coli and it can be deadly.
As well: Flu season close. The new Covid strain. Vaccines/boosters for both. Public doubt and resistance to be vaccinated stated over social media. Why should we agree to more Covid vaccinations? We were told at the outset that the first two vaccinations would be all we would require.

How close to the fnancial breaking point is half the Canadian population and who are they? Already this year we have spoken about 52% of Canadians being within $200 of not being able to meet their monthly financial obligations, while 24% nationally would have to borrow money or sell something if they had to raise $500 in 24 hours to pay bills.

Courts in dissaray in Ontario at this time because of staffing issues and health concerns within courtrooms (mold). Hundreds of criminal cases (and maybe more) may be thrown out because of not meeting required timelines from charges being laid to a trial concluded, per the Supreme Court Jordan decision of 2016. Might killers walk?Not the first time. In 2017 a report by the Senate standing committee on legal and constitutional affairs, revealed tens of thousands of criminal cases may have to be thrown out for the same reason.
And then there's the issue of NCR. Not Criminally Responsible. NCR has been a national headlines creating reality and is again in British Columbia with premier David Eby "whitel hot" angry over the release of an NCR psychiatric patient, Blair Evan Donnelly, who stabbed his teenage daughter to death and last weekend stabbed three people at the Light Up Chinatown festival in Vancouver.

This weekend marks the first anniversary of the death in Iran of Mahsa Amini, the young woman (22) arrested by the so-called Morality Police for defying the country's hijab laws. Nationwide protests erupted and dozens of young Iranian protesters are reported to have been shot and killed by police. Mahsa Amini's father detained by security forces and warned to not commemorate his daughter's death before being released.
