Can we be bffs?

I don’t know how long I’ve looked for a podcast like this. It will not be surprising to anyone that the podcast history market is flooded with men - and there are a multitude of amazing podcasts out there - however- there are not many where women talk about history. This podcast is amazing because there women are not only talking about women’s history (which deserves its spotlight - but I have podcasts for that), BUT THERE ARE SOURCES. AND A SOURCES JINGLE. It’s so refreshing to have women that take history seriously, but also live for Phillipa Gregory (and Harry Potter and LOTR and D&D and everything else that makes women in history and science beautiful.) I recently left a wonderfully intellectual job at a museum and I miss conversations like these. Y’all y’all deep history and make it accessible to people who have only ever heard of The Wives of Henry - but also enjoyable for those of us who consume their history....well....like a hobbit at elevensies with a pint and a pipe. From one woman in academia to another: HELL YES THIS IS SO GOOD. PLEASE NEVER STOP.

Also, the sources jingle is my favorite part.
Also, all of the jingles are magical.
Also, I decided to finally write a review during the Cannibal episode after Nicole listed the hobbit daily meal plan. 🙌🏽 gotta support ladies who know their hobbit daily routines.
