Eastern Long Island runner... sos!

I’m moving back home to Long Island soon and this podcast will always let me keep a piece of the nyc running community close by. If y’all ever do some hamptons or montauk events please let our community know—the local runners envy the nyc running scene (or at least i do). Super legit interviewing, awesome insights, some guests may not be famous, but everyone has a story and that’s the beautiful gift that this podcast offers to its listeners ☺️

Interesting podcast

Really enjoy the podcast and the selection of guests. However, I think the hosts interrupt/talk over the guests too much sometimes. I found the Paul Leake episode a little frustrating to listen to. Otherwise, love the podcast.

Brooklyn Focused

I was excited to start listening to a show about running in NYC. With one exception, this podcast seems to largely focused on a small area of Brooklyn and area elites. It’s kind of disappointing.

NYC has a huge population of runners both with a variety of abilities. Being billed as a city wide look look at running, it’s unfortunate that the show doesn’t bring forward those from other clubs and areas of the city. It is, in a way, symbolic of one of the bigger running community issues within the city: Silos. Aside from races, many groups don’t make any effort to go mingle. With very little effort, the show could live up to its name and I’m sure it would be excellent.
