We watched a lot of TV as kids. A LOT OF TV. Come on, you did, too. We know you did. We're children of the 60s and 70s, and those shows are still with us today. All together now: "Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!" So come on along with us as we revisit them with as grownups, through a 21st century lens. The first season is "The Crimes of the Brady Bunch." It'll be outta sight.

S1, Episode 32: The Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Mike’s boss Mr. Matthews (Yes! we know it used to be Mr. Phillips! Don’t worry, we cover that) sends him a pool table for doing such a great job on the Whitley project. Bobby becomes a pool shark. What could possibly go wrong? We discuss The Hustler, Season 5, Episode 21, of The Brady Bunch. Jim Backus – Thurston Howell III — makes a special guest appearance.

S1, Episode 31: Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Good old-fashioned Brady trickery is back with a vengeance in Season 5, Episode 20, “Snooperstar.” Marcia decides to teach Cindy a lesson for snooping, in what’s probably the most humiliating episode of misused and underused Susan Olsen’s career. The only upside? A guess visit from Natalie Schaefer, aka Lovey, Mrs. Thurston Howell III, as yet another one of Mike’s rich, entitled and crazy female clients. As you can imagine, we have a lot to say.

S1, Episode 30: The Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Top Secret! Bobby and Oliver are somehow under the impression Mike is working for the FBI and Sam the butcher is a double agent! Oh no! Season 5, Episode 19 of The Brady Bunch.
-
S1, Episode 29: The Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Peter discovers a new kid at school looks exactly like him — we mean EXACTLY, down to the bad haircut — and hijinks ensue when they decide to fob Faux Peter off as real Peter to the Bradys. What could possibly go wrong?
As we discuss Season 5, Episode 18 of The Brady Bunch, Two Petes in a Pod, we also note some signs that the show is beginning to give up the ghost as it limps into its final four episodes. -
S1, Episode 28: The Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Yes, folks, it’s the episode everyone’s been waiting for! The introduction of Cousin Oliver. He gets on a motorcycle and jumps over a shark tank. Actually, the cute little tyke doesn’t, but you get what we’re saying. Season 5, Episode 17 of The Brady Bunch: Welcome Aboard.
-
S1, Episode 27: The Crimes of the Brady Bunch
Peter and Bobby see a UFO hovering over the back yard. They even take some photos of it. But do they? Really? Season 5, Episode 16, “Out of This World.” Expect some classic Brady trickery.

Need to finish
They are into the last season but haven’t been heard from in a while. Please wind things up.
Love this show. It is amazing
There are a lot of Brady Bunch podcasts out there. Most of them are average at best. Even the real Brady Bros is on the lower spectrum of quality there are two that are amazing. This is one of the two best out there by far I love the host and how they break down each of the shows I’ve been listening to this podcast for years they took a couple year break as one of the host was riding a book. They also have a podcast around crime, they used to do four or five episodes per podcast and it would be rushed through but now they’re doing an episode every podcast. I really hope they consider going back and doing a more deep dive on the earlier seasons as their analysis and information they share from the books and from even listening to other podcasts is really great for any Brady Bunch fan I strongly strongly recommend this podcast
Hilarious & Nostalgic!
I didn’t grow up in the 70s, but my mom graduated in ‘77 and I grew up watching and snarking on the Brady Bunch with her. I have laughed during this podcast more than I have in a long time. Thank you both for bringing it back! You’ve got a huge fan in me and may I please suggest Happy Days as a future feature on Groovy Tube!
