About Dr. Erica Judge Edwards
Erica Edwards, MD, FAAFP is a board certified family practice physician practicing in Austell, GA. She is a graduate of Meharry Medical College and completed her residency at University of Florida. She is an autism advocate, focusing primarily on early diagnosis and early intervention. Her 2.5 year old autistic daughter, Carle Emery, was diagnosed with autism at 21 months old and she credits early diagnosis and early intervention with changing the trajectory of her daughter's life. Her current goals include removing barriers that interfere with obtaining a diagnosis and improving access to care once a diagnosis is established. In 2022, she founded Carle Emery's World social media sites, which chronicles her family's journey navigating autism.
