Matthew is a fourth generation Japanese-American and third generation public servant. He joined the U.S. Foreign Service as a political officer in 2003 and has literally been around the world. Hear about his first love of expos and other global mega events since his time in South Korea. He is currently instructing at USC Center for Public Diplomacy as well as doing some publishing. He is also interested in subnational diplomacy and recaps other anecdotes of his endeavors. He also recalls high school years in Rochester, Michigan.
