S2E11 Getting Curious in Grief with Nina Rodriguez Sol Rising

    • Relationships

Have you suffered traumatic loss and are trying to make sense of how and why it happened? Are you seeking a spiritual and practical pathway to move forward? One filled with curiosity as well as grace.

Join Amanda and Nina Rodriguez, founder and host of the Grief and Life Podcast, in a heartfelt, introspective conversation around the questions that come up about our internal experience with loss and how this seeking provides a path forward full of grace, purpose, and a new perspective on what's actually going on beyond the veil.
A few points they touch on include:
Broken heart syndrome, known as Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. A physical condition that can reshape segments of your heart as a result of profound and intense grief. Normalizing feelings of grief that can make you feel like you're going crazy.  How we are moving FORWARD not moving ON. The necessity to show yourself grace and how to practice grace in action. The importance of rituals as we move through the grief process. The different ways in which people show their support for the bereaved which may look different than the ways you would show support. How a deep spiritual connection within and with the other side emerged for both Amanda and Nina after the loss of their brothers.  And much more! The book Nina refers to is Embraced by the Light, by Betty J. Eadie.
More about Nina
Nina created her podcast after the unexpected loss of her only sibling, Yosef, as an authentic exploration of grief and life after loss. Through each conversation, she aims to give a voice to the griever’s experience, and foster a more grief-informed, hopeful world. Beyond the podcast, Nina extends her grief-informed support through monthly circles, personalized mentorship, speaking engagements, active presence on social media, and forthcoming in-person retreats.
