His character originated as a memorable scene stealer with an over the top personality as Charlotte York’s wedding planner who dispensed advice with a rapid fire delivery. Mario is known for his fast-paced and energetic comedy style, and for his occasionally campy impressions of personalities such as Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Bruce Springsteen, Jim Morrison, and Bette Davis; as well as for his original songs. Much of his comedy derives from his boisterous Italian American family. Mario has also been featured on The USO Comedy Tour, Chappelle’s Show, Denis Leary Roast, and Joan Rivers Roast.
