Bio: Melissa Lucien is the CEO and founder of Mel’Inspirit, LLC, a multifaceted company that provides youth-empowering mentorship programs, business structure and management, and translation services. Melissa is also a motivational speaker, self- published author, and philanthropist. Born and raised in Haiti, Melissa migrated to the United States to continue her education. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently a law student at Regent University School of Law.
Throughout her career, she has remained a fervent advocate for the immigrant community and her home country. She competed in many beauty pageants, including but not limited to Miss Haiti Florida, and Miss World International. She caught the attention of many with her interviews with the Miami Herald, Canvas Rebel, Ayibopost, and her participation at the “Haitian Living Abroad” symposium with the National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals. Melissa worked as a paralegal and then Operations Manager at an Immigration Law Firm, giving her advanced insight into different aspects of the life of Immigrants. She currently works as an Immigration law intern with the aspiration to become an Immigration Attorney and activist.
As an overall Haitian influencer, she finds her purpose in positively impacting the youth so they can become agents of change in our communities, our countries, and the world, making it a better place.
