Our End of Year Wrap-Up
It’s the end of the year episode and we’re easing our way out and into the new. No big bang in this episode. 2022 was a *ride* to say the very least!
We kick off by talking comedy and offer our take on recently seeing Louis CK at the Atlanta Fox Theatre and then chat on four big articles from the week, mostly to pose the question, “What is Elon doing tho?!” Plus New Zealand has a new take on quitting smoking, and why one Connecticut Mom is warning about toddler screen time.

Bezos says he’s going to donate his billions when he dies. Has he had a change of heart or is it just a PR stunt? In the backlash of Americans losing all belief in tech billionaires - HI ELON - the latter just makes sense. Speaking of tech; Silicon Valley is falling over itself to find “the next big thing” which leads us to dissect the “creator economy” and make predictions about where it all leads. Our Halloween episode where we don't discuss Halloween
It's Halloween! Although, we don't really do much Halloween conversation this episode. We do dive into Elon's full acquisition of Twitter, if the books we had to read in high school had any relevant to today, China's new campaign to shame unmarried women 27 and older, and we take a look at the bizarre home intruder attack on Paul Pelosi. Great dynamic!
Alex & Rachel have a great dynamic. They cover interesting and relatable topics weekly and it’s nice to listen to a show where the hosts don’t always just agree with each other, but still listen to each other’s point of view. They’re very funny too! Highly recommend listening.
