How does a working mom find a balance between work and home life? And, how does she find time to care for herself while juggling it all? These are questions working mothers have been asking themselves for years; but, it has taken a pandemic to realize that incorporating balance is a necessity.

In this episode of The Latika Vines Show, our guest, Jennifer Todling, shares her personal story of finding a path that allowed her to manage her home while going up the career ladder. Jennifer encourages working mothers to:

find an organization that allows you to craft flexibility
no longer be a people pleaser
say yes to at least one thing this year
focus on what matters most to you
be strategic in what you say yes to
find time to exercise

She encourages all working mothers to remember the quote, "if you think you can, you can." - Henry Ford

Jennifer Todling is an audit partner at EY based in the Tysons, Virginia office where she serves clients in the life science industry. She also spent three years as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant’s Professional Practice Group at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission focused on auditing policy-related matters.

In addition, Jennifer is an ICF certified executive coach who supports EY professionals, including working parents, in leveraging their strengths and unique talents to bring their best to their lives and organizations. She is a proud mother of a three-year-old daughter and has been married for over six years.
