Salena Davila-Schilling: Starting a community as a first-gen Master's graduate, to offer help and connection to others in her field‪.‬ Elevating La Cultura Podcast

    • Self-Improvement

Hey hey!
I’m excited about today’s episode because From the moment my next guest and I connected, I knew I wanted to share her story on the podcast.
Salena is a Clinical Behavior Scientist with a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis and Counseling. She also holds a graduate-level behavior analysis (BCBA) certification and is finishing the Project Management certification program. Salena has been in the field of Behavioral Analysis since 2009.  When Salena isn’t reading an article, or book, or participating in a webinar, she’s providing her time on committees and boards to make changes that help marginalized communities. She has a strong passion for supporting locally while thinking globally and is an avid traveler.
Salena started her own company, The Full Field, in 2021 for those looking to make an impact in the field of Behavioral Psychology. She provides project management for larger-based projects, research meet-ups for journal discussion, and career coaching.

Podcast: BS with Salena
I’m sure we could have chatted all day, but I’m so thankful for Salena sharing her experiences transparently.

In other news….I started something new.
The Elevating la Cultura Comunidad on Facebook. Join our private group to continue the conversations we have on the podcast. I’m also launching a live 3 day training called Showing Up Latina: Embrace and Revitalize Your Cultural Identity. It's going to be fire! Check it out on elevatinglacultura.com/showinguplatina.

You can also comment on our YouTube video if you’re watching online. I always like to hear from people and how they resonate with the stories I share. SO leave a review on apple podcasts so we can get more ears listening to these stories and we can continue elevating la cultura.
Alright, enjoy the rest of the day/afternoon/evening whenever you’re listening, y nos vemos next week Adios!
