    • Documentary

Today my guest is Sam Powers, a GySGt in the Marine Corps, he discusses his time in the Marine Corps, and how Brazilian Jui Jitsu helped him cope with the stressors of his job. Sam is a CID agent, and has worked with NCIS, where he has seen the worse side of the Marine Corps. BJJ has been a stress relief that his whole family now shares in. He is now an ambassador for the Ronin Foundation. The Ronin foundation “is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is helping active duty military members combat suicide, depression, alcoholism, PTSD and other mental health concerns, by sponsoring their training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.”
