Podcast by international event designer & wedding planner Sasha Souza discusses everything business about the event industry through the telling of stories.
I’m going to dive into a story of what happens when you pick up a wedding from one of your competitors…
Dark Days Sasha
Did I ever tell you about the time I threw a cold chicken breast, plate and all, at the caterer? Would you like to hear it?
In this episode, we are diving into a story of how I got a reputation.
And this isn't a reputation that is when you're like, wow, I really look up to that. It's actually a real scar to me on my reputation in the industry, and something that I think that we can definitely learn from.
Bonus Episode! Survival
As we start out a new year, I read this quote that has stuck with me and that I feel is so appropriate right now: “One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide." Brené Brown.
Bonus Episode! Proud
This quote became a mantra for everything that I do both personally and professionally and I just love it so much. "Don't Stop Until You're Proud."
Thank You Hayley Paige
The story of Hayley Paige and her gown company is a cautionary tale to the event industry. Here's how you can learn from her.
Bonus Episode! Excuses
You may need a little boost, a little coaching, and maybe a good laugh, so I will bring you a weekly bonus thought that might be helpful to you as you navigate your week. Let’s Go!

Leave Behinds Podcast
Omg, I can so relate to this podcast! Long story short...bride reached out to me. Said she never heard back from her planner 3 months in after hiring her. So, I felt sorry for her and took her on as a client. After about 4 months of working with her I knew why! I would pray every day for me to get the nerve up to talk to her and cancel the contract. Well, she reach out to me and said they have decided not to move forward with my services. They still owed me one more payment, but I gladly let that one go! Whew, talked about answered prayers! I earned my lesson! Thank you for the podcast and the reminder!
