"Say More About That" is a podcast that is focused on mental health issues, with the goal of making therapy more approachable and less stigmatized. "Say More About That" will educate listeners on how therapy really works. There are tons of strange and quirky things about being a therapist or receiving therapy and we're going to talk about all those things on this podcast. Sometimes we'll laugh at the counseling profession and how bizarre it is. And other times we'll be super serious and talk about how powerful and important counseling can be.

On "Say More About That" we'll sometimes talk to clients about their up and down journey receiving therapy. But we'll mostly bring in experts in the field to dissect aspects of therapy and mental health that don't get enough attention.

Jeff, I want to be friends with you

I'm now upset that I moved away from Portland because I want to be best friends with Jeff. As a therapist, this is the most relatable and relevant content I could ask for. It's real and authentic and I love it so much.

LMFT listening and enjoying

I love Jeff's podcast. It's always interesting content and meaningful perspectives from his interviewees. After ten years in the field I need resources like this to stay fresh and am really grateful for these episodes. I look forward to new ones as they are released and it's really what keeps me going on some slow weeks where private practice feels really lonely. Thank you for producting intentional, modern, deep content for therapists and non therapists alike!

This podcast should be in your library

Hilarious. Laughed out loud at certain parts of “hardest part of being a therapist” while walking the dog this morning (Self-care in action!). Love the complete authenticity offered in this podcast. Will definitely be a continued listener—being a therapist can be the best experience ever but also very...trying...and this podcast offers real-talk on the experience of being human but also a therapist. Keep up the great work!
