The DNA of a Bad Decision
Paul writes the Corinthians many warnings in plain, simple, no-nonsense language. For us, these warnings can create a checklist of things to watch for to prevent making a bad decision.
While no singular thing will be the deciding factor, you may be making a bad decision if:
- You act without getting Godly counsel.
- You're controlled by you.
- You don't look to God's Word for direction.
- You act with no concern for your witness to unbelievers.
- Your actions don't strengthen you spiritually.
- Your actions don't honor God.
- Your actions lead to temptation. -
Behind Closed Doors
As we look at Easter, we're faced with the choice of where to find truth: the door of tradition, the door of wisdom, or the door of relationship.
Join Dream City Omaha as Pastor John Weasel shows us each of these doors and lays out what awaits behind them. -
We are the Church
In the Book of Mark, we read about four friends lowering a man through a roof to be healed by Jesus. Although this happened millennia ago, this story reveals five types of people in the church today.
Join Dream City Omaha as guest Pastor Cory Demmel of Cape Christian shows us the church will always have someone in need, someone who cares, someone who is preoccupied, someone who is critical, and someone who brings healing. Which of these are you? -
How to turn the World Upside Down
Paul's custom was to go into the synagogue to engage with others, and in his regular actions, we see the simple keys to turning the world upside down.
Join Dream City Omaha as Pastor John Weasel shows us how to turn the world upside down. We must be ready to reason, have an explanation, and prove Christ just as Paul did. -
Addition = Subtraction
When Paul wrote to the region of Galatia, he pulled no punches because some things needed to be made clear without a doubt. One of those being the gospel.
Join Dream City Omaha as Pastor John Weasel looks at Galatians to show that we are saved by grace, through faith, in Jesus—period. This gospel we receive leads to freedom, and that freedom we experience should produce a new way of life. -
Invitation to Intimacy
James says that if we come close to God, he will come close to us. We are invited to intimacy with our creator, so will we answer that invitation?
Join Dream City Omaha as Pastor John Weasel shows us how selfish pleasure, passions, and prayers serve to hinder our intimacy with Christ, and how we much practice submission, resistance, and repentance to create that closeness with Him.
