Many of us have regular meditation practices or gratitude practices. I do, and they’re such an important part of my being present, and my living grounded and with appreciation for what I have. However, how many of us have a courage practice? I’m guessing very few, but in today’s episode my guest is going to teach us all about the value of courage and leading a courageous life, how we can all live more courageously, and why it can be so transformative for us and for those around us. I am honored and excited to bring to you my dear friend and colleague, Scott Simon, author of Scare Your Soul. In today’s episode, Scott talks about:

  • How he was bullied growing up, the shame he felt around it, and how it led to him living a “small” life for years
  • How his years of living small led him to be a champion for others in helping them live a courageous life
  • Why we should learn to dance with our fear instead of trying to obliterate it
  • The meaning behind the title, “Scare Your Soul”
  • How the Scare Your Soul community is changing lives and changing the world
  • Practical suggestions for taking small courageous actions
  • The importance of fostering a courage practice
