The paranormal comes to life as husband-wife duo Dan Cummins (acclaimed standup comedian and true horror fan) and Lynze Cummins (costume and wardrobe stylist for numerous film and television productions) share terrifying stories that will leave you sleeping with the lights on. Dan’s goal? To scare Lynze with creepy accounts of demonic possession, shadow people, and other eerie phenomena. And when he’s done, Lynze fights back with chilling fan-submitted tales of true horror. Together, they explore the darkest corners of the web, dusty old books, and even their own eerie surroundings—a studio filled with occult objects and located right next to a cemetery. Don’t forget to check out the mini-series Nightmare Fuel, airing on this feed the first and third Friday of every month, where Dan narrates a short piece of original horror fiction. Incredible Storytelling

Dan and Lynze are fabulous storytellers. Never knew I liked to be scared so much. They’re a wonderful example of a loving couple as well, and foster an incredible community around their podcast. I’ve been listening since their first episode, and I’m still so excited with every new one! Scared to Death never disappoints!

Dan and Lynze have done more than provide entertainment, they provide community. They provide spooky and intense stories with comic relief via the hosts banter. Each episode involves fans; fan stories, patreon thank you’s and spooky shout outs! I started listening because a casual friend got their story told on the show and now we have a stronger connection thanks to the Dan and Lynze.

I have been a listener since day one on this podcast. Over time, it has definitely dropped in quality. There’s too much backstory with a lot of Dan’s stories. The listener submitted stories have become better and often more scarier. Early on, I was genuinely freaked out with some of the stories but now I find myself being bored at times.
Update to: Love this show, but Linze needs to reherse her stories!

Dan is the best storyteller out there, Hial Nimrod! The premise is fun and I look forward to the stories and every week, but I end up wishing Dan would just read all of them. The obvious loving dynamic between Dan and Linze is something special <3 Linze could do with some dialect coaching and she really needs to reherse her stories!!! Update…unfortunately you guys lost me as a subscriber and listener! I started out as a space lizard, and have listened to every episode of Timesuck and Scared to Death. I love thought provoking entertainment and good storytelling. Dan, you top the charts in these categories. What a great concept!!! When you get political and share controversial opinions of which facts are sometimes misrepresented (Timesucker updates in subsequent episodes are often too little, too late when the damage has been done). For this reason, I dropped down to the cheaper version on Patreon (don’t know what that’s called). I’ve felt insulted many times while listening over the years. Now you want me to subscribe to SiriusXM…NOPE!!! I’m done. It’s too bad - I want to be a huge fan.
