I see white people

We have the tools. We could fix the deep fissures in this country if we made podcast like this one required curriculum in our high schools. We could produce a generation of citizens equipped to take a critical look at the world around them and ask themselves how was this constructed? By whom? for whom? What purpose does it now serve? It can't just be select people of color that wrestle with these ideas. This podcast is a must listen.

Consistently smart, insightful journalism

I have learned so much from the Scene on Radio series “Seeing White” and “Seeing Men.” The reporting is thorough — starting with the historical roots of the issues we’re grappling with today — and the number of academics, activists, and other experts who are interviewed is truly astounding. Every time I listen to an episode, I know the way I think about the world will he challenged. Thanks to the Scene on Radio crew for all of your awesome work!

All I can say is “Wow!”

This work is stunning. I am 50 year-old, wokeish Black man and I can’t believe that I’m hearing so much of this for the first time.
