Scott Sunderland – Transforming Lives Vroom Vroom Veer with Jeff Smith

    • Self-Improvement

Scott Sunderland found himself lying in a hospital bed, unable to move any part of his body. In 3 days, he went from a very capable, athletic man to completely paralyzed with a mind full of fear. He believed he was more than just his body, and he used that power throughout the next year. Taught himself how to literally walk out of that room and into a new life.

Then, on July 27th, 2012, Scott’s world came crashing down once again. He was walking on a beach with his best friend and three children. The sand collapsed under their feet, throwing them into a current, fighting for their lives. Scott made it to shore. Next, he watched his best friend, Brad, take his last breath before a wave washed over him and he was gone. This experience left Scott completely broken and searching.

For the next five years, he yearned for Brad’s forgiveness. He realized that it was his own that he was searching for. Scott made a promise to live an inspired life for both Brad and himself. Scott left a life that wasn’t serving him and stepped into the power that he realized he always was.

Today, Scott has kept his promise and tells his stories as triumphs. Teaching others that all their limitations, failures, sicknesses, losses, and addictions help show them the door to their own greatness. He inspires, motivates, and empowers people to help them realize they are the victor just waiting to be uncovered.

Scott Sunderland Vroom Vroom Veer Stories

Story about growing up with an absent father and a mother struggling with addiction; he didn't know he was neglected until later when he described his childhood

Story of a childhood memory of feeling like being in a cage on the front step of his house when he was 3. Dad was gone; mom was passed out on the couch and brother and sister were in school

Recently went back to visit that house and the family that lives there now invited him into the house; he sat on the step again and started the healing process for that childhood event

His mother eventually got into recovery; got sober for 45 years; helped many others heal and transform their lives

How the Hedonistic tread mill of better, house, boat car will never make you happy; those things are nice but they don't lead to a sense of peace or fulfillment

His childhood home was used as a set for a TV Show called Do no Harm. This might be the step

A guy who yelled at his wife for asking him to get some potatoes out of the oven; turns out he was re-living a "moment" when his father snapped at him when he was 9 years old

Looking for trauma from childhood can be a challenge because part of you doesn't find you to find it; a better method is to practice surrender and asking the quiet voice what you need to know now
