SCREAM with Ryan C. Showers is podcast show that explores the Scream film franchise in deep, focused analysis. This podcast is for people who love Scream and its mythology. Episode 154 – Scream v. Alien: Franchise Similarities & Contrasts
This week, Ryan covers the Alien franchise in relation to Scream, in particular the way Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), and Alien: Resurrection (1997) mirror the first four Scream films. In addition, the podcast panel discusses Ellen Ripley’s legacy as a final girl. Ryan is joined by podcast editor Albert Padilla (host of The Cantina Cast podcast) and Quentin Harrison for this epic coverage of everything Xenomorph and Ghostface.
