    Stephen began his career as a freelance comic artist 15 years ago, creating his own work and showing it at comic conventions. His networking paid off and he got hired to draw for comics Torchwood, How to Train Your Dragon and Flash Gordon.
    He continued to network and got work drawing storyboards for Halo: Nightfall and Krypton as well as working with movie studios to create apps used to promote their films.

    Stephen also has his own games company Outsider Games and has 2 playable games  - Jennifer Wilde & Wailing Heights.  Which you can get via the app store!

    Amanda’s career in the creative industries began as an arts and entertainment journalist writing for publications including The Irish News. She has 25 years’ award winning experience in TV drama as a script editor, storyliner, producer and executive producer for the BBC, RTE, Blinder Films and Tiger Aspect before turning her attention to writing. She has showcased plays at Outburst Queer Arts Festival and been published in flash fiction and short story anthologies. She recently executive produced On The Street Where We Live, a series of audio plays for The MAC Belfast and her play Lolly features in the series. Amanda’s play, This Sh*t Happens All The Time, about homophobic hate crime, will premiere at Belfast’s Imagine! Festival in March 2022, and Distortion produced by The MAC, will be streamed worldwide in September 2021.

    Mark started Score Draw Music in 2004 after a career as a musician that included recording 4 Peel Sessions, playing live shows in the USA, Russia and Japan, and having tracks he had co-written placed on shows such as Malcolm in the Middle and Sesame Street. 

    Outside of the company Mark is a member of the Ivors Academy Media Committee Board, dealing with ongoing issues for media composers around copyright, skills, and opportunities. He also sits on the Future Screens NI Board, delivering expert technical skills, opportunity, and growth across film and broadcast, animation, games, and immersive technologies and industries in Northern Ireland. Mark also programmes Output Belfast - Ireland’s largest music conference.


    Mark shares his story with us as well as giving some helpful tips and tricks on how you can build a portfolio in the music composing world.
