Tonight, our featured guest is author Sean Mitton. Sean hales from Cary, North Carolina and works as a Business Development Manager and Professional Speaker but in his free time he is also an author who published his first book “The Goal That United Canada” in 2012, a collection of stories told by 72 Canadians who describe their experiences to Sean and co-author Jim Prime of when Paul Henderson scored the game-winning goal that clinched the 1972 Summit Series between Team Canada and the Soviet National Hockey Team.

Very soon Sean along with legendary Canadian hockey Film Archivist and author Paul Patskou will release a new book “When Canada Shut Down” where Sean and Paul tell 72 untold stories from the Canadian and Russian perspectives on the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Summit Series. This book will accompany a splendid documentary that discusses one of the most transcendental moments in hockey history.
